Hardscrabble

A stylistically unique Colorado Bluegrass Band from day one, the members of Hardscrabble have been been singing, performing, and playing in feeling the love that only bluegrass can give. Throughout the course of the band’s union, they have won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life; performing at a variety of venues, making loads of public appearances, all the while exploring what their music means.

Formed in 2009, the band features the musical talents of Jena Skinner on lead vocals and mandolin; Robby Brown on lead guitar and vocals, Eric Lovgren on banjo and vocals, and Andy Leister on bass.

Hardscrabble has shared the stage with some of the biggest acts in bluegrass music including Peter Rowan, The Steep Canyon Rangers, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, Great American Taxi, Tyler Childers, and many more over the years. Hardscrabble has been featured at festivals like the Bonfire Blockparty, Yarmony Grass, Camp Out for the Cause, Ullrgrass, and the WinterWonderGrass Festivals, and events such as the GoPro Games, and the Vail International Beer Festival.
