Who we are

Started in 2008, the Eagle Mushroom & Wild Food Festival, a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, hosts an annual three-day festival in Eagle, Colorado.

Fostering a sense of community and showcasing the rich flavors of wild foods, the Eagle Mushroom & Wild Food Festival has become a premier destination for mushroom enthusiasts and renowned mycologists.

To provide mushroom-focused education, nature exploration and culinary experiences that enrich our vibrant mountain community.

How do I attend?

Individual tickets and VIP passes can be purchased to attend events.  Event ticket and pass pricing varies from free to $500.

Purchase individual tickets to curate your event, or purchase a VIP Pass to access all festival events with guaranteed access to the sought-after Guided Forays and Culinary Dinner.  Passes are limited.  See tickets page for more detailed information.

Traveling To Eagle

Eagle, Colorado is located mid way between Denver and Grand Junction at I-70 Exit 147.

By Plane

Eagle County Regional Airport

Conveniently located 5 miles west of Eagle, several major carriers provide daily service to this airport including Delta, American and United. For all flight information, visit www.flyvail.com

Driving Directions from Eagle County Regional Airport to Eagle: Exit the airport taking a left on Cooley Mesa Road. Turn right onto Highway 6, eastbound, and follow it about 5 miles straight through one roundabout. It’s that easy. Welcome to Eagle!

Denver International Airport

Eagle is located approximately 130 miles west of Denver and about 2.5 hours from the Denver International Airport. All major airlines service the Denver airport daily. Tto learn more, visit www.flydenver.com

Driving directions from Denver International Airport to Eagle: Exit airport on Pena Blvd. Merge onto I-70 west via the exit on the left, 10 miles. Follow I-70 W for 145 miles to Eby Creek Rd in Eagle.  Take Exit 147. Approximately 148 miles.

Grand Junction Regional Airport

Driving directions from Grand Junction Regional Airport to Eagle: Exit airport on Horizon Dr. Merge onto I-70 east via the exit on the left. Follow I-70 E for 116 miles to Eby Creek Rd in Eagle.  Take Exit 147. Approximately 118 miles.

By Shuttle

Enjoy your trip to Eagle completely car-free by using transit options such as Bustang which can take you from Denver Union Station or the Federal Center directly to Eagle. Once you arrive, use the EcoTransit bus service to get around town. Local taxi services, as well as, Uber & Lyft are limited in the mountains.  Check the app for availability. There are multiple airport shuttle services to transport you from DIA to Eagle.
