Chef & Owner, Red Canyon Catering

Chef Brian Farquharson has owned and operated Red Canyon Catering, a premiere private chef service, since 2003. Red Canyon has been a featured caterer at many local events, and  has enjoyed affiliations with BravoVail, Vail Rotary Club, Betty Ford Gardens, Exclusive Resorts, Inspirato and other top Destination Clubs.

Chef Brian trained in many fine dining restaurants while achieving his University degree in New England, and decided to continue on his culinary path after graduation. After apprenticing under many notable New England chefs, a position at The Ritz Carlton, Naples FL became a springboard to a career in fine dining food and service.  A native of the Vail Valley since 1996, Chef Brian moved to the area and worked with Game Creek Club, Grouse Mountain Grill, Picasso, Grouse on the Green, and the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor, Gulch.

Red Canyon has satisfied discerning palates with over 800+ private bookings since its
inception, and looks forward to creating a memorable class experience at this years 2024 Eagle Mushroom Festival.
